e-Engine – Remote Monitoring & Control System
E-engine’s goal is to ensure the reliability and performance of equipment and engine through online and offline monitoring, connecting engineer staff on land with the offshore crew for problem resolution, shutdown, and further problems. All this, within a simple platform, is easy to operate and with extra resources, such as External Consulting, which has specialists from RV Solutions & Consult who can assist in making more complex decisions.
The developed app helps shipowners and engineers of vessels and industrial plants to monitor failures and asset performance during operation, ensuring better performance.
e-Engine Full Packet
e-Engine Full Packet was developed for engines MAN ME-C/ME-B, though, it can be used in other engine templates. The system communicates with several kinds of industrial processes such as Modbus RTU & ASCII and Modbus TCP, Fieldbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, NMEA0183, NMEA2000, amongst others. From this feature, the system can interface harmoniously with third-party systems, such as:
- Alarm Systems from different manufacturers (SAM, Kongsberg, Samsung, Terasaki, and others).
- Energy Management Systems (Deif, Kongsberg, Samsung, Comap, and others).
- Navigation Systems (JRC, Raytheon Anschutz, SAAB, and others).
- Tank Systems (Rosemount Emerson, Kongsberg, Tanktech, and others).
- Fuel Consumption Systems (AlfaLaval, VAF Instruments, and others).
Benefits of the system:
- Control of performance and energy efficiency of the fleet's engines.
- Maintenance proactiveness.
- Vessel performance history.
- Quick response in problem-solving.
- Collected data can be used in A.I. and machine learning.
RV marine Dashboard
The e-Engine accesses the RV MARINE DASHBOARD, a customizable digital platform, where graphics are inserted for real-time control and monitoring of the systems. The control panel has a datalogger, where users will be able to access all the data collected and generate reports automatically, as well as schedule notifications and alarms, by e-mail or messages.

Information security
The security of data exchange is the basis of the whole e-Engine. The already encrypted data packages are sent through a high-security connection, via SSL/TSL encryption, based on the management of a broker which only a subscriber identified by password and ID is allowed to connect.
There is a local backup system in its structure, in which no data is lost even when there isn’t an internet connection.
