FIVA Upgrade
Confirming the commitment to deliver agility, quality, and competence services, In the last month, RV Solutions & Consult team carried out an FIVA upgrade operation on a Doosan 6S70ME-C engine.
The entire upgrade took just 12 hours, plus sea trial, removing, prepping, and reinstalling new ones, due to FIVA Curtiss-wright obsolescence. It was replaced by a new one, model MBD/Parker, which showed excellent performance and operation throughout the sea trial.
The service included:
- Replacement of FIVAS.
- Cable routing.
- Installation of new passage boxes.
- New connections in the CCU’s.
- Software upgrade.
